A still shot from Marie Polo's work
"I have been exploring the theme of trauma and healing through my work, and after witnessing the power of water in my immersive screenings, I felt drawn to delve deeper into the essence and nuances of water. I find water fascinating as it connects us all through its universal life source and is able to take any shape. Throughout my life, water has been a soothing and exciting ally, even in the hardest moments. I believe that including water in my work is crucial, especially in light of the current climate change and ecological crisis. To me, water is a source we should cherish and stop taking for granted, and I hope that by enabling people to reconnect to water through experiences like TUNEKO, it can be the start of a refreshing wave and an awakening for all living beings." Marie Polo
Polo’s immersive screening of TUNEKO will feature a live performance and a reflexology walk.
