Produced in partnership with Y-3, this collaboration enhances the overall storytelling with the brand's signature tailoring and innovative approach to fashion, adding wardrobe depth to Kianí's artistic narrative.
Under the visionary direction of Kianí del Valle, an acclaimed director and choreographer known for her work with renowned artists such as Billie Eillish, Labrinth, and Bad Bunny and experimental artist like Lyra Pramuk, Floating Points and Doug Aitken. Kianí has also made significant contributions as a movement director and choreographed the dancers for high-profile projects, including the fashion film for Selfridges London and live performances at prestigious events like Coachella, Fuji Rock Japan and Sonar Festival.
EL TÚNEL features ten exceptional performers who craft a series of intricately intertwined cinematic tableaux. The fashion-forward designs from Y-3, a label representing the revolutionary alliance between Yohji Yamamoto and adidas, combined with Del Valle’s artistic vision, create an innovative visual experience that complements the performance's thematic depth. Kianí del Valle is a distinguished director, choreographer, and performance artist based in Berlin and Los Angeles. Her work, which spans major cultural cities worldwide, merges contemporary dance with performance art, exploring complex themes through a multidisciplinary approach involving film, photography, and technology. She founded the KDV Performance Group, known for transcending traditional dance boundaries. She focuses on themes like Caribbean histories and the Taíno culture, contributing to her groundbreaking status in contemporary performance art. Kianí Del Valle has collaborated with numerous renowned musicians such as Labrinth, Ziúr, Kelman Durán, Ludwig Wandinger, Bad Bunny, LSDXOXO, Floating Points, Lyra Pramuk, John Legend, Clark, Objekt, Lotic, and Bendik Giske.
