Following an exceptionally high-demand debut, the Josephinenhütte Black Line edition returns for a limited run, reimagining the Josephine No. 3 Red Wine glass and No. 7 Decanter in an elegant, smoky black.
Crafted by renowned designer Kurt Josef Zalto, 3,000 unique, handblown pieces have been produced for this year’s Black Line edition. As with previous limited editions, a rapid sell-out is anticipated.
The Black Line No. 3 Red Wine glassware and No. 7 Decanter will be available to newsletter subscribers in a pre-sale on Friday, October 31, with the general public release on Friday, November 7, exclusively at josephinen.com.

Priced at $220 for a set of two glasses, the stemware merges innovative sensory design with a striking aesthetic to elevate any dining experience. The Josephine No. 7 Decanter will be offered only as part of an exclusive set, allowing collectors to complete their tablescape. The Black Line set features four No. 3 glasses and a No. 7 Decanter, and is priced at $690.
The Black Line's initial release in 2024 featured the No. 2 glass, which sold out in the newsletter pre-sale. This year’s edition, the Black Line No. 3 and No. 7, are expected to be just as popular.
Like all pieces in the Josephine Collection, each Black Line glass and decanter is meticulously handcrafted by master glassblowers in Europe. The traditional, small-batch production process may result in subtle color variations and minute bubbles, which are not flaws but a testament to the artisanal craftsmanship, ensuring each piece is a unique work of art.
