Acclaimed choreographer Del Valle unites with Young Miko and RaiNao in groundbreaking collaborations that merge movement, music, and Puerto Rican cultural power.
Three Puerto Rican women, each dominating their industry on the global stage, are converging to create work that transcends genre, gender expectations, and geographical boundaries. Internationally acclaimed choreographer Kianí del Valle, Billboard’s Latin Rookie of the Year Young Miko, and alt-perreo singer RaiNao, are proving that when fearless female artists unite they can make history.
This weekend, the world watches. Young Miko takes the stage at San Juan’s Coliseum of Puerto Rico for two sold-out performances (December 5-6) featuring Del Valle’s artistic collaboration. Next week, the collaboration deepens as Del Valle begins work as co-director, choreographer, and movement director on RaiNao’s upcoming short film and music video.
Kianí del Valle recently choreographed for Lorde’s Ultrasound World Tour, directed Travis Scott’s Coachella performance, and created movement for Labrinth, Billie Eilish, and Nathy Peluso. Her work has commanded stages from Coachella and Sonar Festival to the Venice Biennale and Victoria and Albert Museum.
Del Valle holds the Outstanding Artist of the Year Award from the Institute of Culture of Puerto Rico and Berlin’s prestigious Body Time and Space Grant.
As founder and artistic director of Berlin’s KDV Performance Group, del Valle creates work that explores Caribbean postcolonial identity, Taíno heritage, and embodied spiritual traditions blending contemporary dance with film, technology, and fearless cultural commentary.
