As the Berlin Gallery Weekend approaches, Kutur Runway, an upcoming mobile fashion game, aims to showcase the captivating intersection of art and augmented reality through an immersive instant photography experience. Spearheaded by game developer and Kutur Runway co-founder, Nicola Mizon, alongside artist and designer Esther Perbandt. The event will take place at Fotografiska Berlin Museum for Contemporary Photography, Art & Culture.
At the heart of this collaboration lies Esther Perbandt's distinctive evening gown, meticulously adorned with hand-embroidered fabric birds. Utilizing augmented reality technology, the team will bring this masterpiece to life, offering guests an unparalleled AR experience.
The installation includes a suspended headpiece crafted from synthetic hair and the Bird dress from the "Concrete Jungle" collection, crafted entirely from Deutschleder, a durable 100% cotton fabric sourced from Germany. Known for its tightly woven construction, Deutschleder is renowned for its strength.
"We are thrilled to collaborate with fashion designer Esther Perbandt and Fotografiska to realize our vision of merging the art of fashion with technology," says Nicola Mizon. "Esther's stunning gown, combined with our innovative AR software, promises to create an unforgettable experience for all who attend."
