The Puerto Rico-born, Berlin-based dramaturg and movement director closes the festival’s TK Maxx Stage with a performance by Lorde on Sunday.
Lorde will close Lollapalooza Berlin’s TK Maxx Stage on Sunday, July 19, in a performance built by Kianí del Valle, the Puerto Rico-born, Berlin-based dramaturg and movement director who has spent the past year shaping the pop star’s live show. The Lollapalooza set was created specifically for the festival circuit, extending a partnership forged on Lorde’s Ultrasound tour.
That tour, also choreographed by del Valle, sold out its run and played Berlin in December 2025 to rave reviews. Sunday’s Lollapalooza appearance carries the same energy and physical language into a festival-length set, giving European audiences their first look at how the Ultrasound show translates to the festival stage.

“Movement is the throughline of every story I build on stage,” del Valle said. “With Lorde, we spent the Ultrasound tour finding a physical language for this era of her music, Lollapalooza is a chance to bring that same world to a festival crowd.”
Del Valle’s next project is already set: she will direct the next festival tour for fellow Puerto Rican artist Young Miko, extending a collaboration that began with Young Miko’s sold-out shows at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan. Young Miko performs at Lollapalooza Berlin’s Essence Stage on Saturday, July 18, ahead of that new chapter.
