Josephinenhütte Joins World of Fine Wine Event as Exclusive Stemware Partner

Josephinenhütte, the German brand known for its exceptional craftsmanship in glassware, has been selected as the exclusive stemware partner for the World’s Best Wine Lists 2024 Awards. This event, hosted by The World of Fine Wine, will take place on September 16, 2024, at London’s Glaziers Hall, celebrating excellence in wine list curation on a global scale.

The partnership highlights Josephinenhütte's commitment to enhancing the wine-tasting experience with their exquisite JOSEPHINE Collection, featuring the acclaimed No 2 Universal glass. Designed by renowned glassmaker Kurt Josef Zalto, the collection is celebrated for its combination of traditional craftsmanship and visionary design. The unique design features a distinctive kink that optimally develops the aromas within the glass. The kink interrupts the wine's swirling motion, causing it to spiral back due to the funnel-shaped design in the lower dome area. As a result, the wine can develop more intensely and quickly.

The World’s Best Wine Lists, a global awards program established by The World of Fine Wine in 2014, is recognized for its rigorous judging process. The panel of independent international experts, including World Champion Sommeliers, Master Sommeliers, Masters of Wine, and respected wine writers, evaluate entries based on high standards that prioritize the importance of an excellent wine selection in the modern dining experience.
