During London Design Week on September 11, DANCÆ will integrate their choreography, Chasing Nothing, with an installation by Dominic Kießling. The choreographic work, which lasts 20 minutes, will be presented as part of the inaugural edition of MANUFACTORY, Park Royal Design District for London Design Festival.
Chasing Nothing has been created in dialogue with Dominic Kießling's installation, The Cloud. The weightlessness of the installation is mirrored in the dancers' movement, where fluidity and ease meet a distinct sense of athletic strength and precision. Set to electronic music, the work brings choreography, sculpture, sound, and architecture into one cohesive aesthetic world, with the dancers moving through and around the installation as it continually reshapes the space.
The performance is a must-see event at MANUFACTORY, a new festival for interdisciplinary art and culture in London’s largest industrial district, taking place on 11-12 September 2026. Presented through exhibitions, installations, site-specific interventions, MANUFACTORY invites audiences into the hidden spaces of production that shape the city.

The event is part of a jam-packed schedule for DANCÆ and lead choreographer Soraya Schulthess. Back in their hometown Berlin, DANCÆ are bringing a fresh choreography, Rattleskin, to an abandoned 2000m² shopping center in October.
