DANCÆ, in collaboration with define creative, continue their genre-bending Rattleskin performances with four more shows from October 15 to 18. The show, which combines elements of classical ballet, modern dance, and audiovisual art, takes place at CANK on Karl-Marx-Straße in Neukölln.
CANK goes beyond the role of a traditional venue, as the former department store is transformed into a rich sensory atmosphere. Much like its venue, Rattleskin transcends the preconceived boundaries of dance performance, using the art form’s rich artistic history to address relevant questions about self-improvement and fulfilment in the modern age.
Music by Innox Trax, Alarico, Ogtrues, Ignez, and others bring a techno edge to its traditional ballet references.

Spearheaded by founder and creative director Soraya Schulthess, DANCÆ seeks to produce works that invite the audience to participate by immersing them in a physical space and catering to all senses. By breaking down the barrier between audience and performer, DANCAE makes dance performance more accessible and relevant than ever.
